Instax of the day

Since I have yet to purchase a scanner, so this is how we'll do it.

1. Dying flowers- February 6 2012
2. Auntie- February 3 2012

Today: the day of flowers

Self
Get-well flowers & double braids as todays props.

The varieties of rooftops

1. The one I see everyday locked up in my Brooklyn studio, healing from surgery.
2. The one I wish I could see, view from Aya Sofia. Istanbul, Turkey.

Have been having an immense craving for traveling again, as I have been bed bound now for so long.
But I am healing up quite well, so hopefully sooner than later I will be on the road again...

The view from where I lay

Leg post knee surgery, auntie Christina. In my pad, Brooklyn. Feb 2012

A big leg brace and the balloon which came along flowers sent to me by lovely colleagues and adopted family in New York.

Today was my first visit to the physical therapist and I got a first look at my now rather frail leg.

It is a very interesting process on learning how to walk properly again, and what this does to your mind. One might think that your mind becomes very weak and frail, but I feel stronger than ever, ironically enough.

My loving aunt Christina flying in from Georgia to care for me is the best blessing of the day (except that I also got to slightly bend my leg a little after keeping it locked straight for a number of days AND that I found out I now have a new baby cousin in Sweden. Little baby Axel is welcomed into our family and I cannot wait to see him).

As I mentioned, I messed up my knee quite bad. So this is my alternative way of bringing you photos, through Instagram on my iPhone. I really enjoy this app and just recently started using it.

Brooklyn backyard & selfportrait. Brooklyn, NY. 2012

Its been hard lately to posts here on the blog, since I have been working all days missing out on daylight for taking photos.

Also, I had a quite bad knee injury while longboarding with some buddies here in the city.

So, result is, I have a torn ACL ligament and a damaged meniscus. This means, surgery...

So I will be in a handicapped state for quite some time now.

Until I have a body that can function properly for taking photos, I will do my best at updating with other means.

Here is a shot uploaded from Instagram, which I took with my new Fujifilm Instax camera. Its absolutely the most fun camera ever.

Late summer evening.
Connecticut, Fall 2011

When I started working on this blog, I promised that I would take away my kept privacy of it, and make it public in the end of December. Well, the end of December is here, and here it is.

Here is a shot of one of the most stunningly beautiful women I saw in Marrakech. Her beauty lit up the street, and I am so glad I got this shot.

Haven't been able to upload any photos in some time, due to not having internet in my new studio. So due to this, I give you my old view, from my times in Falun (sorry for bad scanning quality).
